I have to admit, at first I was a little excited. I always liked Aerosmith, but in reality, I liked Aerosmith for Steven Tyler.
Guitar Hero Aerosmith just misses big time. In reality, it would have made a bad ass Rock Band download. Why feature a “BAND” when you can only be the guitar player? Why not just call it “Guitar Hero - Joe Perry”. Nethersoft (developer) completely missed the mark on this one.
As a download it would have been alright, but as a seperate game…. it fails.
GTA4 was all I dreamt it would be and more. The story driven gameplay couldn”t leave you but feeling that you were truly “Niko”. I”ll never get the achievement that you”d get if you finished the storyline in 30 hours or less, but I will eventually finish it. I get too distracted by shopping for clothes, checking email, stealing cars for Brucie, hanging out with my cousin Roman, watching the Caberet Show and the Comedy Club acts. The world of Liberty City is incredibly engaging. I wish that you could actually enter alot of the shops around town but I guess I have too much to do as it is. And all I”ll say is….oh Michelle….
Next on my list is Age of Conan : Hyborian Adventures. It is a “M” rated title (Mature 17+) which takes place back in the days of Conan.
I”m very early on, just barely hit level 6. Customized character creation is very good. I really need to snap out of the “WoW” mentality of thinking when playing this. The combat system takes a little getting used to but I find I like it very much. Not just push a button and you auto attack the target while you watch the latest episode of “The Office” (which btw ..I love, tho I”m only on Season 3). I can”t wait to get deeper into the game. I haven”t gotten into any PvP yet, but with this combat system it really should be interesting. The game runs pretty good on my system, but with prices on hardware coming down alot, I see a new video card in the near future. I”d like to see the game’’s settings a bit pumped up. With any new release, I expect some lag and not exactly smooth gameplay. After some patches and such, I expect things to improve.

Yes..I know..I spelled “Def” wrong..but in all honesty I wished I was deaf while hearing the 2 live tracks added in this 3 track download. The live tracks sound HORRIBLE!
Now I LOVE Def Leppard. When I saw that there was a song pack for GH III I got all excited. Finally, a reason to pop in that GH III disc in my 360….. …..live? LIVE?? WTF? It’’s not even a GOOD live! The singers voice is SHOT and the only way it would have sounded good is if I was AT the concert after doing 6 shots of tequila and chased it with a gallon of beer. Why live? Why not the studio recording? “Photograph” and “Rock of Ages” are a couple of their best songs and this is the version they put out…blech. And that third song…whatever…I haven”t even bothered to play it.
Very disappointing. Sucks donkey balls big time.
I jailbreaked my iPhone…and I have to say I LOVE IT! Being that I”ve become a Twitter ho…I longed to take Twinkle for a spin but could not because my iPhone’’s cherry wasn”t popped..until tonight. Using ZiPhone to jailbreak my phone was a one click operation. Easy, no trembling or sweating on my part. All the apps listed in the included installer just made me giggle like a schoolgirl. My new additions to my beloved are Twinkle, iFlix (my netflix queue), Camera Pro ( I can now ZOOM with the damned camera!), and an app called Pocket Guitar.
My iPhone experience is about to blow wide open and will never be the same again!! All good!

I”ve also begun to listen to the audiobook version of “In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote. The only other books on cd I”ve listened to were the Harry Potter series. I got the Capote book on Audible. I think it’’s a great audiobook service and I got “In Cold Blood” with the free credit they give you just for signing up. Cancel at anytime. Thursday night a friend and I went to the Pantages Theater in Hollywood to see the musical production “Wicked”. What an awesome production. It was my very first experience in true “theater”. Just the feel of the place alone was different than anything I”ve ever experienced.
Refreshing was that people actually “dressed” for the theater. Not like here in Vegas where you can go to a production of “Phantom of the Opera” and see people walking into the theater in their shorts and fanny packs…what the??…
The talent blew me away..the music was enchanting.
For those not familiar, it is the story of the 2 witches in “The Wizard of Oz”. How the witches came to be as they are known, and the origins of how the characters (the tin man, lion, and scarecrow) came to their fates. Funny, and heartfelt, the story will forever change the way you see “The Wizard of Oz”. In fact..gonna put in my queue for it on Netflix…
If you get a chance to see it…dooooooooooooooooo eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! You”ll be wickedly delighted that you did!
I don”t know why, but this “story” pisses me off. It’’s either extreme attention whoring, or the media is so desperate for a story that THIS is what they came up with.

I guess my issue with it is that this is NOT a biological male. This is a woman, who lives her life “as” a man. He has had “top surgery” (removal of the breasts), however still has female reproductive organs and did NOT have “bottom surgery” (reconstructive surgery to have a penis rather than a vagina). So aside from how he “feels”, or chooses to live his life as, biologically he is still a woman.
I have no issues with transgendered people, however I don”t see how this actually qualifies as a “story”. There are rumors that it’’s a hoax, however it is completely fathomable that a transgendered female to male can become pregnant especially since he kept his female parts down below. I also am a little perplexed as to how he can “legally” be a man without the bottom surgery.
Now he is going to be on Oprah. Once again..where truly is the “story” in this? Vagina+Reproductive organs+donor sperm =pregnant. Regardless of how much hair he has on his face, or how flat his chest now is. Now if he were born male, with a penis and internal male reproductive parts..and he came up pregnant, then I”d say all the headlines and such would be appropriate.
The mentality of it all just astounds me.
